A meme I actually really liked. So here are my influences. I tried to scale them from actual influence. The larger influenced my style in some way. The smaller influence me to do art.
1. Alphonse Mucha - always a source of inspiration. I recall the first time I saw his work and absolutely loved it and never looked back.
2. Michael Whelon - incredible fantasy artist. He's the one that got me hooked on doing fantasy art.
3. Joshua Middleton - mixing Art Nouveau and Comics… how could I not fall in love with his work. It's very simple and beautiful.
4. Joe Madureira - his work got me hooked onto comics. Way back with X-Men Phalanx Covenant story arc. He's also the reason I started drawing comics in the first place.
5. Marko Djurdjevic - what can I say his work is absolutely fantastic and always a source of inspiration. His blending of design with comic books is a winner.
6. Alan Tew - mixing great humor with awesome sketches his work was a constant inspiration to keep drawing. He used to update daily not so much anymore
7. Jim Lee - specifically during the Wildcats era. I loved that comicbook.
8. Michael Turner - RIP such a talent and such a great loss. His Witchblade run is still in my book one of the greatest and most beautiful runs for a comic ever.
9. James Jean - Could be higher on the list but alas his work has only recently started to influence me.
10. Chris Bachalo - Also could be higher on the list absolutely love his work.
